How can I use cruise control on a Honda Civic from 2019?
My wife and I are going on a road trip. I want to set my vehicle to cruise control when I’m driving on the highway. How do I use adaptive cruise control on a 2019 Honda Civic?
Press the Main button on the steering wheel. The adaptive cruise control (ACC) will appear on the multi-information display on your dashboard.
When you are at the desired speed, push the Set/- button on the steering wheel to set the speed.
If you want to adjust the speed, push the Res/+ button to increase or the Set/- button to decrease the speed. Holding down either button will increase the speed by five mph.
To set the interval distance between you and the car in front of you, press the distance button on the steering wheel. The icon is a vehicle with four distance bars. The four different interval options are; short, middle, long, and extra-long.
To cancel the ACC function, you can do one of three things: press the Cancel button on the steering wheel, press the Main button on the steering wheel, or depress the brake pedal.
Although you can set your vehicle to drive at a constant speed and adjust the speed to match the car in front of you, you must still be alert and exercise driver control.
