How can I reset the maintenance light on a 2014 Toyota 4Runner?
I got my car serviced a couple of days ago. I think my mechanic may have forgotten to reset the maintenance light because it’s still on. I would rather not have to take my car back to the shop. How do you turn off the maintenance required light on a 2014 Toyota 4Runner?

If your maintenance light is still on after you’ve gotten your car properly serviced, then you’re probably right; your mechanic forgot to reset it. But don’t worry, you can reset the maintenance light on your 2014
Toyota 4Runner
in a few very simple steps:- Put your car in accessory mode by turning the key once in the ignition.
- Turn your car off and press and hold the Trip Meter Reset button. Do not release it.
- While still holding the button, turn your car back on accessory mode.
- You should see the normal odometer readings return after a moment. Once this happens you can release the Trip button.
