If the airbag light on your vehicle has come on, before trying to reset it, you should have it examined by a professional to ensure that there is nothing wrong. You may also want to check for any open recalls on your vehicle. Airbags are an important safety measure in your vehicle and should be in working order at all times.
That said, you can reset the airbag light in your 2006
Toyota Sienna
by opening up your car’s dashboard and pulling a fuse. If you don’t feel comfortable doing so, you may want to leave this job to a mechanic.
If you do, follow these steps to reset the airbag light on your Sienna:
  1. Put the car in accessory mode by turning the key once in the ignition. Do not start the engine.
  2. Allow the car to sit for at least five minutes.
  3. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the section of your dashboard to the left of your steering wheel. Here you will find the fuses.
  4. Look at the back of the panel you just removed for a diagram of the fuses. If you do not see a diagram, look in your owner’s manual.
  5. Once you find the proper fuse, pull it out, wait, then put it back in. This will reset your airbag light.
