How can I remove overspray without damaging the clear coat?
I attempted to paint my car myself but the wind picked up and the result was a bit of overspray. How can I remove overspray without damaging the clear coat?

To remove overspray without damaging clear coat use a clay bar and soapy water, or try a light alcohol solution.
Here’s the most common method for removing overspray:
Wet the overspray area with a cloth dampened in soapy water
Slowly rub the clay bar into the overspray
Use a microfiber cloth with auto cleaner spray to wipe debris away and maintain the coat
You can also try using an alcohol solution since alcohol dissolves the paint. However, don’t let it sit for too long. Be attentive and wipe it away as soon as the overspray is dissolved.
Of course, you can always take your vehicle to a professional for assistance.
