We totally get it—restoring your car’s paint by removing cloudiness is a great way to make an older vehicle look brand new. Thankfully, you can remove cloudiness from car paint at home.
To do this, you’ll need to buff and wax your car. You can purchase a rotary buffer at your local auto shop, as well as car polish and wax.
First, apply a small amount of polish to your buffer and work in small sections in a circular motion until you’ve buffed your whole car. It should appear shiny now!
Next, seal in the shine by waxing your car. You’ll want to wash your car with soap and water first to remove any residue, then apply a coat of wax and let it dry. To really make it shine, buff your car once more with a microfiber towel once it’s dry.
We hope you enjoy your renewed, shiny car paint! For any more car-related questions—or to save money on your car insurance
