offers numerous discounts to customers for a multitude of reasons. GEICO offers discounts based on the safety equipment in the vehicle, such as:
- 23% discount if your vehicle has airbags
- 5% discount on certaintypes of insurance
- 3% discount of vehicles with daytime-running lights
- 15% discount on vehicles three model years old or newer
GEICO also offers discounts based on your driving habits. Drivers with no accidents in the past five years can save up to 22% on most coverages. If you and your passengers always use seatbelts, you could save on medical and personal injury payments on your premium. Geico also offers education discounts for drivers who take a defensive driving course and full-time college students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
If you are retired or active-duty military personnel, you are eligible for up to 15% discount on your policy. If you have more than one vehicle, you can insure multiple vehicles with GEICO and get up to 25% off of your total yearly premium.
