How can I keep the radio on when car is off?
I’ve been picking my little sister up from her job at the mall and she always takes about 30 minutes to actually come out after her shift ends. I get so bored—there’s not much reception in the area so I’m left listening to the radio. What’s the easiest way to keep the radio on when the car is off?

Having to wait in the car can definitely get boring without anything to listen to. To keep the radio on when the car is off, simply turn your key once in your ignition to access accessory mode.
If you have a push-to-start vehicle, you will need to:
- Put the car in park
- Remove your foot from the brake
- Press the start button once
If you use a physical key to start your car, you will need to:
- Insert the key in the ignition
- Turn it halfway
You should now be in accessory mode and have full access to the vehicle’s display without your engine being on.
