I’m sorry to hear that you’re dealing with this, especially with a brand new car! Luckily, there are a few ways you can better secure your car cover.
Go back and check the instructions for your car cover. Take the cover off and reinstall it to see if you made any mistakes the first time.
Purchase a gust strap and place it over your cover at the end of the day. The gust strap will hold your cover in place all night and is adjustable.
If you can’t find a gust strap or don’t feel like buying it, try binder clips as an alternative. Although less effective than a gust strap, a binder clip will keep your car cover secure in moderate wind.
