I just started a car dealership in my town and the larger competitors are outperforming us. I’m starting to think this might not have been the best investment. How can I get more leads in car sales?

I’m so sorry to hear that the dealership isn’t working out the way you planned. Starting out can be really difficult, but once you build trust with your customers and focus more on digital marketing, you should see your numbers climb.
To build trust with your customers:
Always be transparent and open. Although you may be struggling to get things going, never let that affect how you treat your customers. Put their needs first and communicate clearly about what you’ll be charging them and why.
Be knowledgeable about what you’re selling. If you’re the expert on what you’re selling, you can get your customers exactly what they need to walk away satisfied, come back again, or even refer a friend.
Be proactive and check in on your customers, even after they’ve purchased. Let them know that you care about their experience and that you value their feedback.
Be yourself, which may sound cliche, but people respond to authenticity and build genuine relationships this way. If you start a relationship with dishonesty, it will be harder to gain trust and complete the sale.
Some tips for digital marketing:
Start a blog
Create an active social media presence
Create videos
Send out emails and newsletters
Show off questions and answers as well as reviews and testimonials
