You’re just one step away from being a licensed driver—how exciting! Every state has its own policies and procedures for booking a road test, but you might be able to get an earlier driving test date by contacting your local driver’s license division.
You’ll probably need to call, but some states may have an online booking system that you can use to request a change.
Note that in some cases, an earlier test date may not be available. In this case, ask if you’re able to push your test back to a later date—after you’ve returned from your trip.
