Park your car in a safe, dry area and open your trunk. Parking outdoors will give you the best results, but a garage can too.
Take anything wet out of your trunk and set them to the side to dry.
Grab a towel and absorb as much water as you can. Don’t use paper towels as they won’t absorb the water fully. They can also leave an unpleasant paper film on your car carpet.
