How can I connect my phone to a Honda CR-V?
My dad needs to take calls in the car sometimes, and he always makes me hold it while he talks on speaker-phone. I’d like to connect his phone to the car, so he can take the calls himself. What steps should I take to connect my dad’s phone to his Honda CR-V?

Using speaker-phone in the car is annoying, so I understand your desire to set up Bluetooth!
- Start by turning on your car and pressing the phone button on the display screen.
- A prompt should appear to ask if you’d like to add a device—select Yes.
- Navigate to the settings menu on your phone and activate Bluetooth.
- When your phone appears on the car display, select it.
- A number should appear on your smartphone and Honda display. If they match, then you’re connecting to the correct device.
- Select the Pair option on your Honda display and give them a moment to connect.
If you follow these steps, you shouldn’t have any trouble pairing your phone and Honda. But if you do have an issue, try resetting your phone or changing the name of your device in your Bluetooth settings before starting the process over.
