How can I change the clock on a Honda Civic from 2003?

My wife and I are on a road trip to Washington and we keep getting tripped up by the time difference. It would really help to have our car display the current time zone—the problem is I’m not sure how to change it. How do you set the clock on a Honda Civic?

Road trips are awesome, but they can definitely be a little disorienting when crossing time zones. Luckily, you can change the clock on a 2003 Honda Civic quickly and easily by following these steps:
  1. Park your car and put it in accessory mode by turning off the engine without shutting off the car completely.
  2. Press and hold the SCAN/RPT button located on your radio.
  3. Without releasing the SCAN/RPT button, use the number 4 button to change the hour and the number 5 button to change the minute.
  4. Release the SCAN/RPT button.
Once your clock is set properly, take a moment to make sure that you’re properly protected on your road trip. If you’re concerned about your
car breaking down
, you can add
towing and labor coverage
to your car insurance policy to make sure you’re covered.
