You must demonstrate proper qualifications before you can obtain a license from the state. All driving instructors must have:
A valid Florida driver’s license and be at least 21 years old
A license free of any suspensions or revocations for at least three years prior to their application submission
No prior convictions of felony or misdemeanor within five years

Pay the $25 fee
