Every time I think about my driving test, my heart starts pounding. I really don’t want to mess up. What’s the best way to stay calm during my driving test?

It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Even though it’s a lot of pressure, you can stay calm during a driving test by remembering that you have three tries to pass.
Treating the first try of your driving test as a practice round can really take the stress down a level. You can try these calming methods, as well:
Get a lot of practice in before your test: The more comfortable you are behind the wheel, the calmer you’ll feel when you’re driving during your test.
Get a good night’s sleep beforehand: Being well-rested will help you stay focused during your test.
Eat and stay hydrated leading up to your test: Even if you can’t eat close to the actual test time, you’ll still have sufficient calories to stay alert.
Take steady breaths: If you start to feel nervous, take deep, even breaths.
Focus on the task: Being in the moment and focusing on the task at hand can help you feel less nervous.
