Have there been any Infiniti FX35 recalls?
My mom is getting older and she wants a used car to get her around town. She’s interested in the Infiniti FX35, but I’m not sure how safe some model years are. Are there any Infiniti FX35 recalls she should be aware of?

Infiniti FX35
. Owners have reported transmission issues with the FX35 like shifting troubles, acceleration issues, whistling sounds, and a burning smell under the hood. Additionally, these are the recalls with corresponding years for the FX35:
- 2021: Tears in the airbag may increase the risk of injury
- 2020: Passenger airbag may rupture, resulting in the release of sharp metal fragments
- 2017: Airbag inflator may rupture, resulting in the release of sharp metal fragments
- 2016: Airbag inflator may be faulty, resulting in the release of sharp metal fragments
- 2015: Defective front passenger airbag
- 2015: Faulty front passenger airbag
- 2015: Driver may lose control of steering wheel, resulting in an accident
- 2011: Possible engine oil leak
- 2006: Headlights may not be illuminated sufficiently
- 2006: Taillights may not be illuminated adequately
- 2005: Possible fuel filler hose leak
- 2005: Child seat anchors may not be positioned properly
- 2003: Brake caliper bolts may not be sufficiently tightened
- 2003: Drive shaft bolts may come loose
