It’s good to follow up anytime your dashboard indicators light up! For the 2013 Honda Civic
, you will need a tire pressure gauge to check that your tires are filled with the correct amount of air. First, find the proper pound per square inch (psi) for each tire on the door jamb on the driver’s side or in your owner’s manual. Then take the valve cap off the tire you want to measure. Pop the gauge over the valve stem and you’ll get the measurement.
Once you fill your tires to the correct psi, hold down the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) button on the left side of your dashboard to reset it. Once it blinks twice, take your car for a ten to twenty minute-drive and your TPMS will be set to the new tire pressure.
