Does Toyota require premium gas?
I’ve heard that Toyotas work better with premium gasoline. I don’t really want to spend the extra money at the pump but I’d do it if that’s what the manufacturer says will produce better performance. Does Toyota require premium gas?

Toyota does not, by definition, require premium gas in their vehicles.
Regular or mid-grade gasoline will work perfectly in almost every single
Toyota
. The only Toyota model that needs a higher grade fuel is the Toyota Supra
.The engine type and compression ratio determine which type of fuel your vehicle needs—not necessarily the make and model. The Supra has a turbocharged BMW engine.
At the end of the day, fuel choice is a personal choice. Mid-grade gasoline won’t offer noticeable improvements for most modern vehicles built to handle standard unleaded. But if it makes you feel good to treat your vehicle better, go for it!
