The Prius is one of the all-time great hybrids! The Toyota Prius has Android Auto. It’s been a standard feature on the Prius since the 2021 model year.
There’s a caveat, though. Strangely enough, Android Auto is only available as a standard feature on Prius’ lower trims. If you upgrade to the XLEor Limited trim levels, you’ll lose Android Auto compatibility.
Both the XLE and Limited editions feature larger 11.6-inch infotainment screens with software that doesn’t support Android Auto. If you’re relying on Android Auto for navigational purposes, you won’t need to with these higher trims, though—they have built-in navigation systems.
That being said, customers have expressed their disappointment with the lack of Android Auto on the XLE and Limited, especially seeing as they cost significantly more than an entry-level Prius.
Once you’ve made peace with the Prius’ finicky tech setup, take a moment to focus on how much you’re paying for car insurance
