Does the Ford bumper-to-bumper warranty cover tires?

I just bought a Ford vehicle. However, one of my tires just blew out. Fortunately, I didn’t lose control of the car, but I’d like it if Ford replaced the tire. Are tires covered under the Ford bumper-to-bumper warranty?

The Ford bumper-to-bumper warranty does not cover tires unless the damage was the result of a manufacturer’s defect. This warranty—also known as the 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty—will not cover tires due to tread wear or general wear and tear
In most cases, tires get damaged as the result of general wear and tear, so don’t be surprised if Ford denies your car warranty claim.
