I have a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, and I would love to pair my phone, so I can use it hands-free. Does my van have Bluetooth, or is that something I have to buy an adapter for?
Grand Caravan with the Uconnect Hands-Free Group package, you will also have Bluetooth. This package adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, a satellite radio, a USB port, and Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity. All other trim levels come standard with this package.
If your Grand Caravan has Bluetooth capabilities, you can connect your mobile device to your Uconnect multimedia system, which allows you to use hands-free calling, music streaming, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.
Here’s how to pair your phone:
Go to your mobile device’s settings menu and ensure Bluetooth is activated.
On your Dodge Uconnect screen, press the Phone button > Add Device > Settings.
Your minivan is now discoverable from your mobile device and may display a PIN.
Select your vehicle from the Bluetooth menu to begin the pairing process on your mobile phone. Your Dodge Uconnect screen will confirm the pairing request.
Once confirmed, your phone has been paired with your Dodge’s Uconnect multimedia system via Bluetooth.
