Does the address on my car insurance have to match the address on my car's registration in New Jersey?
I bought a new car in the middle of moving across town in New Jersey. Now the addresses on my car insurance and registration don't match.

“If you’re the primary owner of the vehicle, the address listed on your
car insurance
must match the address on your registration. This applies to most states, including New Jersey. Your insurance company needs to know where your car is garaged since your current address can affect your premium.
When you register your car with the DMV, you’ll have to provide your physical address. You should update the address on file with the DMV every time you move.
Some insurance companies won’t provide coverage for your vehicle if the addresses don’t match. It’s best to check with both the DMV and your insurance company to see what they each require in your state. “
