Does the 2019 Honda Accord have a brake system problem?
I’ve heard great things about the Honda Accord, but I read that the 2019 model might have some brake problems. Is there an issue with the brake system on the 2019 Honda Accord?

Several complaints have been lodged with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding the 2019 Honda Accord’s automatic emergency braking system. There have been at least 278 such complaints concerning the 2017–2019
These complaints charge that the Accord’s collision mitigation braking system—meant to avoid imminent collisions with objects that the vehicle detects in front of it—engages unnecessarily even when there is no object in front of the vehicle. Six of these incidents may have caused injuries according to the NHTSA, prompting that organization to launch an investigation into the matter.
