Does the 2015 Cadillac SRX have a spare tire?
My daughter who lives out of state just called me and told me that her car’s tire went flat in the driveway. I’m about to call someone to assist her but don’t remember if she has a spare available. Does the 2015 Cadillac SRX come with a spare?

Oh, no! Flat tires can be such a headache, but I’m glad that your daughter is parked in a safe space and that she has some assistance readily available.
The 2015 Cadillac SRX does not come with a spare tire. Many vehicle manufacturers have eliminated spare tires in an attempt to increase cargo room and keep the vehicle as lightweight and fuel-efficient as possible.
The SRX does come with a tire repair kit, which includes tire sealant and a small air compressor. It should be located in one of the storage compartments in your SRX’s rear cargo space.
A roadside assistance employee should know how to use the tire repair kit (or have their own), but you can also find detailed directions on how to use the kit in your Cadillac’s owner’s manual under the section on Vehicle Care.
Keep in mind that the tire repair kit will only offer a temporary fix! You should use it to drive carefully to your nearest tire shop, where they’ll professionally evaluate your tire and then repair or replace it as needed.
