I recently bought a used 2014 GMC Acadia from a private seller and would like to pair my smartphone with the vehicle, but I’m not even sure if this model HAS Bluetooth. Does the 2014 GMC Acadia have Bluetooth?
come standard with Bluetooth capabilities, meaning you can pair your smartphone for the purpose of hands-free calling. In order to use Bluetooth for navigation or audio purposes, however, your Acadia must be equipped with a navigation system.
If you are unsure of how to connect your phone to your 2014 GMC Acadia, you need only follow the instructions listed below:
Press the voice command or phone button on your steering wheel while the vehicle is turned on and in “Park.”
Say “Bluetooth” followed by “pair” after a few seconds or a chime sounds. Your GMC’s IntelliLink system will then respond and display instructions + a four-digit code on the infotainment screen.
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
Find and select “Your Vehicle” in the dropdown list of available devices. Follow any prompts given and enter the four-digit code given in step 2.
Once you enter the code, the system will ask that you provide a name for the paired smartphone. After you supply a name, the system will ask for confirmation and start the pairing process.
Repeat this process whenever you need to pair a new device with your 2014 GMC Acadia.
