Your kids are right! Hands-free calling is available on your 2013 Ford Explorer, and it’s the only safe way to use a mobile device while driving.
You’ll need to connect your phone to your vehicle to get started. Here are the steps:
- Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth
- Press the Phone button on your steering wheel or stereo
- Choose ‘Settings’ and then ‘Add Device’
- Select your phone from the list of available devices
- Follow the pairing instructions, which may involve entering a PIN
Now you can make hands-free phone calls safely in your 2013 Ford Explorer. Sound will come out through the car’s speakers and you can accept, call, and hang-up without taking your eyes off the road.
Note that you may not be able to stream music via this Bluetooth connection. But you can always connect your phone to your car via the auxiliary port to listen to music through your phone.
