I have a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT, and I want to connect my new phone to Bluetooth. Does it have Bluetooth, or do I need to buy an external device to use it?
does have Bluetooth, but only if you have the Uconnect Voice Command package.
The standard Dodge Dart SXT with the optional package comes with all of the features of the Dart SE with the Value Group but also includes:
17-inch alloy wheels
Upgraded cloth upholstery
60/40-split-folding rear seat
Sliding front armrest
Upgraded instrument panel
Six-speaker sound system
But several packages could’ve been added to the SXT:
Uconnect Voice Command package: Bluetooth, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, USB port
Popular Equipment Group: Cruise control, active grille shutters, underbody aerodynamic enhancements, remote ignition (automatic transmission only), enhanced trip computer with an upgraded display and tire-pressure monitoring information
Uconnect Touchscreen Group: 8.4-inch touchscreen display, a rearview camera, USB, an SD card slot, upgraded interior trim
If your Dart has the Uconnect Voice Command package, it will have Bluetooth capability, and you can go ahead and pair your phone! Here’s how:
Press the “Phone” button to begin
Wait for the “ready” prompt and BEEP
(After the BEEP), say “Setup Phone Pairing”
(After the BEEP), say “Pair a Phone”
Follow the audible prompts
When prompted, enter the 4-digit PIN shown on the radio display
