Does the 2012 Chevy Cruze LS have Bluetooth?
I’m looking at used cars for my kid who’s getting ready to turn 16, and I want to make sure the one I pick has Bluetooth. That way, she hopefully won’t be tempted to text while she’s driving. I think I found a great deal on a 2012 Chevy Cruze LS, but will it have Bluetooth?

A new car is certainly a generous gift for your daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, Bluetooth is not standard on the
2012 Chevy Cruze LS
. That said, it was available as part of a connectivity package that added not only Bluetooth, but also a USB port and steering-wheel-mounted audio controls. Just make sure the model you’re looking at includes this add-on feature, and you’ll be all set!
Since safety is clearly a concern when it comes to this major purchase, you’ll be happy to know that your daughter’s new car will be kitted out with plenty of protections, including:
- Stability control
- Antilock brakes
- Full-length side-curtain airbags
- Front knee airbags
- Front and rear side impact airbags
You’ll also be happy to hear that in crash tests, the 2012 Chevy Cruze earned a five-star
NHTSA safety rating
