Does Texas have a seat belt law?

I’m moving to Texas in the near future, and I want to familiarize myself with local driving laws because my commute is about 100 miles in total. Does Texas have any seat belt laws I need to be aware of?

The
Texas seat-belt law
requires all occupants of a vehicle to wear a seat belt, regardless of their age. The only time a person doesn’t have to wear a seat belt is if they’re a child that requires a car seat with its own restraints.
Texas is also a primary enforcement state when it comes to seat belts. That means that a police officer can pull you over solely for not wearing a seat belt—no other traffic infraction is required. The fine for a seat belt violation is between $25 and $200, so be extra careful!
