Does Progressive offer a defensive driving discount?
Can I get a discount from Progressive if I take a defensive driving class? One of my friends suggested it, but he has a different type of insurance, so I’m not sure if it would work for me.

offers customers a discount of 5% to 15% for taking an approved defensive driving course. However, there are some requirements that you may need to meet in order to qualify for this discount:- You must be taking the defensive driving course voluntarily, not by court order.
- You may need to meet an age requirement.
The qualifications will vary from state to state, so you’ll need to check with Progressive to learn more about whether or not this discount is an option for you.
