Does Progressive have a reinstatement policy if my car insurance lapses?

I accidentally let my Progressive car insurance lapse last month when I hit a rough financial spot. I don't want to lose my coverage, so is there any way I could get it back? Does Progressive have a reinstatement policy?

“I’m sorry to hear that you had financial difficulties—I know that’s been the case for a lot of people this year. I’m happy to say that if you recently missed a payment, chances are that
Progressive
will reinstate your policy.
During the reinstatement period, you’ll still have the same level of coverage you had before. You’ll also have to pay the balance due on your statement before coverage can be reinstated.
However, time is of the essence. Call Progressive at 1-800-776-4737 immediately. The longer you wait, the greater the chance that they will cancel your
car insurance
policy.
If they do cancel your policy, you won’t be able to legally drive your vehicle until you get a new policy. One way to find a new insurance policy that works for you is to use the
Jerry
app. Jerry compares quotes from multiple top-of-the-line providers so that you can get the best deal on the coverage you need. That way you can focus on getting your finances back in order and make sure that you’re saving all the money you can.
Best of luck with getting your coverage reinstated!”
