. For PIP or medical claims, it’s often three to five years. However, this does vary state to state and only applies if you were insured at the time of the accident.Apart from this, your

may also have a time limit for claim submission. Most carriers require that you submit any claims within 30 to 60 days. If you don’t submit a claim or inform your insurance of an accident in a timely manner, they can refuse coverage for your medical expenses. To learn the specifics of your insurance policy, you can reach out directly to your carrier. An agent will be able to explain any time limits that may exist in regards to claims and your policy.”
