Does Nissan’s extended warranty cover the transmission?
I’ve had my Nissan for a few years now and my transmission is starting to give me trouble. Thankfully I bought an extended warranty but I don’t know what it includes. Does Nissan’s extended warranty cover the transmission?

Nissan’s
Security+Plus extended protection plan includes three different coverage options—the Gold Preferred, Silver Preferred, and Powertrain Preferred. The baseline Powertrain Preferred plan covers all components of your transmission except for your oil cooler and transfer control unit. But if you purchased either the Silver or Gold extended warranty plan, then all components of your transmission are covered!
