Does my Cadillac have adaptive cruise control?
I currently own a newer model Cadillac. However, I’m still not familiar with all of the features quite yet. A friend of mine told me that my car may have adaptive cruise control, but I’m not sure how to figure it out. How do I know if my Cadillac has adaptive cruise control?

All newer Cadillacs at least offer adaptive cruise control, but that doesn’t mean that your particular model has it. You can use one of these methods to find out if your Cadillac has this particular feature:
- Find the vehicle identification number (VIN) that’s listed on your car title. Then, call your local Cadillac dealer. They should be able to tell you if your vehicle has adaptive cruise control.
- Look in the owner’s manual. In the owner’s manual, you should see various buttons and the acronym ACC on your steering wheel. If you see ACC and other corresponding dash lights, you have adaptive cruise control.
- Set the cruise control when you drive the car. If your car starts 88braking when you approach the vehicle in front of you**, then your Cadillac has adaptive cruise control. Just be prepared to brake on your own if your Cadillac doesn’t do it for you.
