Does Mazda’s warranty transfer to new owners?
I bought a new Mazda a couple of years ago and now I want to sell it to my son and buy a new car for myself. I want to ensure he’s covered by a warranty, though. Will it transfer?

Mazda’s
factory warranties **are transferable to new owners as long as they’re valid.All new Mazda’s come with new vehicle and powertrain warranties that cover repairs to defective Mazda-supplied parts for three years or 36,000 miles. Mazda’s powertrain warranty will repair or replace faulty parts in your engine, transmission, or axles for five years or 60,000 miles.
You can transfer both warranties to a new owner as long as their time and mileage limits have not been exceeded.
If you decide to sell your Mazda to your son, make sure he also buys a solid car insurance policy.
