Does Ford have a lifetime powertrain warranty?
I’m in the market for a new car. My friend told me that Ford had a lifetime powertrain warranty, but that didn’t seem right. I’m wishing for it to be true, but I want to make sure before I buy. Can I get a lifetime powertrain warranty if I buy a Ford?

Unfortunately, Ford does not offer a lifetime powertrain warranty, nor does any other automaker currently in existence. However, Ford does offer a few great warranties on new cars including a 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 3-year, 36,000-mile basic, bumper-to-bumper warranty.
