Does Encompass have a telematics app?
I just found out that there are apps that track your driving and give you discounts! My car insurance policy is with Encompass. Do they have one of these telematics apps?

Yes, Encompass’s Connected Driver program uses a mobile telematics app to track driving behaviors. Encompass policyholders who sign up for the Connected Driver program can save up to 10% on their
car insurance
premiums. To sign up for Encompass’s Connected Driver program, you’ll need to contact your Encompass insurance agent. Your agent will add your Connected Driver Discount to your policy, and you’ll receive a link via text to download the free Connected Driver mobile app. The text will also include a registration code you’ll need to input once the app is installed.
Once you’ve installed the app, all you have to do is drive! The app does the rest by tracking your:
- Speed
- Braking
- Phone handling
- The time of day you drive
Safe driving behaviors will lead to insurance discounts that will remain in effect as long as you continue to use the app. Unsafe driving won’t damage your premiums, but you also won’t benefit from
safe driver discounts
