Does driving in cruise control save gas?
I was looking for ways to save money on gas. I know that acceleration has a lot to do with fuel economy, along with inflated tires and routine maintenance. But since my car has cruise control, I feel like that might be the key. Will driving in cruise control save gas?

The reason that cruise control is more fuel-efficient is just as you mentioned—you aren’t accelerating or slamming the brakes and you maintain a constant speed.
