I currently have an insurance policy with AAA and purchased a salvage car that my son and I rebuilt. It went through extensive testing and is road-certified. Will we be able to insure it with AAA?
Keep in mind that a rebuilt title can only be issued to a car once the car is repaired and inspected by the state or jurisdiction that issues titles. If the repairs check out, the car title is changed from salvage to rebuilt to reflect the repairs performed and denote that the car is now fixed and roadworthy.
