Does a used Hyundai still have a warranty?

The Hyundai dealership near my house has some great deals on a few used models. I’ve done my research, and Hyundai models are a great value buy. I’m just not sure if the warranty transfers to a new owner—if I buy a used Hyundai, do I still get the warranty?

It’s always a thrill to find a great deal on a used car!
Hyundai
has one of the best warranties in the business, and even owners of used Hyundais still enjoy warranty coverage.
As long as the Hyundai is still under warranty, the remainder of the 5-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty carries over. For example, if the car had 20,000 miles and was a year old, you would still get a 4-year, 40,000-mile basic warranty.
However, the 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty gets truncated. Regardless of how much time is left on this warranty coverage, Hyundai automatically shortens the powertrain warranty to a 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty.
While a warranty can help you protect the vehicle, car insurance is every bit as important to safeguard your assets. Download the
