We’re borrowing our friends’ Toyota Sienna to take our kids to Yellowstone this summer and I’m wondering if we need to be worrying about buying a spare tire for the long trip. Does the Sienna have one?

This upcoming trip sounds like a blast! The Toyota Sienna does not come standard with a spare tire and will only have one if the owner opted in for it at the time the Sienna was purchased.
All Siennas do come standard with a fix-it kit, though, which is designed to be able to temporarily repair holes in your tire until you can get to the nearest mechanic.
The optional Toyota Sienna temporary spare tire has only a $75 factory charge and you’ll find it in a compartment on the driver’s side of the car in the trunk, next to the tailgate door. Think of it as a hidden cubby in the wall. Remove the side panel and you’ll see if there’s a tire in there or not!
Before you head out on your trip, make sure you’re covered by a solid car insurance policy. The
