Does a muffler delete void the warranty for a Chevy?
I bought a Chevrolet Corvette last year, and I absolutely love it. However, it can be a little loud sometimes, so I was thinking of removing the muffler to make it quieter. Will this void Chevy’s warranty?

In most cases, a muffler delete won’t void the warranty for your Chevy. According to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act, in order to deny you warranty coverage, the dealer must prove that your car modification directly caused the defect you’re seeking to repair. Unless you’re going to the dealership to repair your exhaust system pipe, a muffler delete shouldn’t be an issue for your warranty coverage.
