I’m coming up on my 70th birthday and I live in Utah. Will I have to take a new driving test in order to renew my license? I know that driving laws can change as you get older, so I’m not sure what to expect.

However, you’ll have to take a vision test, which you should have already started when you turned 65.Utah also accepts requests from others to investigate unsafe drivers. If those close to you report you for unsafe driving behavior, it’s possible that you might need to pass a driving exam to prove your abilities.
