Pet ducks
will travel OK in a car if they have ridden in one regularly for the better part of their lifetime. If your duck isn’t used to the car, however, she will probably be resistant. You can still bring your duck to the vet, though! You’ll just need to make sure that she’s properly restrained before you take off.
Your best bet is to secure the duck in a crate. To make her more comfortable, place a soft blanket at the bottom of the crate and cover the top so she can’t see the road.
