Do I need to be added to my brother's car insurance if I'm going to borrow his car during a one-month visit?
I'm going to visit my brother in Indiana and I'm going to borrow the car off and on for a month. Should he add me to his policy?

“If you’re only going to drive the car a handful of times while you’re there, you may be covered by the “”permissive use”” clause on your brother’s
car insurance
policy. Permissive use means that your brother grants you permission to operate his car, even though you’re not specifically covered by name on his policy.However, your brother should read his policy or contact his carrier to confirm whether permissive use applies to his insurance. If he doesn’t have permissive use, then you’ll have to be added to his policy.”
