Do I need car insurance if I just got my license?
I'm a 16-year-old that just got her license yesterday. My parents let me drive one of their insured vehicles, but I'm not on the policy. Can I still drive without car insurance?

“Even though your parents’ car is insured, you’re not on their
car insurance
policy. If you get in an accident in their car, this can cause some headaches. When the police report is filed, the insurance company will see that you’re not insured. As a result, they’ll cancel your parents’ policy, and your family will be on the hook for all the associated costs.
Congratulations on your license, but until you’re an insured driver, don’t get behind the wheel.”
