Do Fords have a lifetime powertrain warranty?
I’m currently shopping around for new cars, and I’ve been comparing warranties on those I’m interested in. I’ve noticed some manufacturers offer lifetime warranties on the powertrain while others don’t. Does Ford offer a lifetime powertrain warranty?

A lifetime warranty takes some of the stress out of owning a car! Unfortunately, Ford does not offer a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty under normal circumstances. However, certain Ford dealerships can extend a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty to their customers, which means that for as long as you own your Ford—regardless of year or mileage—the engine, transmission, drive axle system, and internally lubricated parts of the powertrain are protected.
Although a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty may not be available on all Ford vehicles, they offer plenty of other excellent warranties, like a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
