Do F1 cars have an electric boost?
I’ve heard that F1 cars are supposedly hybrids. I assume that it’s fueled by gasoline, but some components use electricity. Like boosts—do F1 cars have an electric boost?

The Formula 1 racing world can be confusing. The simple answer is that F1 cars are boosted by
electric
batteries. Formula 1 cars are the peak of automobile engineering. Their primary source of power comes from liquid gasoline. However, the power unit within the car tends to lead to confusion. Though it is described as a hybrid power unit system, the vehicles are not electrically powered.
Though Formula 1 cars depend on gasoline for their power, when the driver needs a boost of speed, an electrical battery sends power. For a period of 6.6 seconds, 60 kilowatts or 80 horsepower of energy is poured into the system to give the driver a supercharged boost.
You may not be a Formula 1 race car driver, but you probably own a sweet ride of your own.
