Some electric cars may have a power save or deep sleep mode that helps to conserve the battery when storing the vehicle. This mode helps to reduce unnecessary battery drainage by disengaging some of the functions and systems that won’t be in use while the vehicle is being stored.
Make sure you store your car in a place that is cool as lithium batteries dislike heat. If you have a garage or are able to find one, it’s best to store the car in the shade as opposed to direct sunlight. Not only can the excess heat affect the battery, but direct sunlight may also fade some of the interiors and leave your car looking more worn than you left it.
