Do electric cars have a brake pedal?
I often hear the term 'one-pedal' driving when discussing electric vehicles. Does this mean that electric cars do not have a brake pedal?

I understand the confusion; maybe this can help you out. Electric cars do have both a brake and an acceleration pedal.
Though you still have your brake pedal, ‘one pedal’ driving allows the vehicle to slow down by simply lifting your feet off the accelerator. You control the reduction of speed by changing the pressure of your feet. This system is called regenerative braking.
What is regenerative braking?
The regenerative system begins when the vehicle operator lifts their feet slightly off the accelerator. This action creates friction in the vehicle’s drivetrain, slowing the car down. Though it may feel strange at first, drivers that have used the feature find it very useful in heavy traffic.
